The North Atlantic in January/February is rightfully not a tourist destination, but despite rough weather, we had a fabulous inaugural winter cruise for the new NES-LTER. Jacob Strock, Heather McNair (soon to be lab member), Francoise Morison and Susanne Menden-Deuer from our lab joined a full boat of 14 scientist for a 6 day cross-shelf transect.
