Every June since 1997, Metcalf Institute has offered a week of daily lectures for public audiences featuring experts in climate and environmental science, communication and public policy.

In 2019, the Leeson Lecture was established as a special lecture in the Annual Public Lecture series, honoring former Metcalf Institute Advisory Board member Robert Leeson, Jr., and his tireless efforts supporting Metcalf’s mission to advance informed conversations about science and the environment.
