INSPIRE Environmental is hiring a Marine Science Technician.

INSPIRE Environmental is a growing environmental science consultancy, based in Newport, RI, and looking to add an exceptional technician to their entrepreneurial team. 

Interested persons who want to go to sea and collect unique seafloor imagery and ensure that data are collected correctly and safely, 100% of the time are invited to apply. Offshore projects may range from short, local deployments to extended, international expeditions. Project durations may require spending a few days to several weeks offshore. The selected candidate must represent INSPIRE’s core mission and values in a professional, courteous, and ethical manner

The Marine Science Technician must have strong troubleshooting and technical problem-solving skills. They must: proactively be aware of, and capable of maintaining, a safe and healthy workplace; monitor and maintain our subsea equipment and onboard systems; and be able to get along well with others while working offshore. Candidates should be detail-oriented, and capable of effective communication and accurate documentation of processes and activities.
