Dual Enrollment
Eligibility
The Dual Enrollment Program is designed for motivated students, typically juniors and seniors, who seek to get a head start on college credit and who are looking to be challenged academically while in high school. High students are expected to have:
- Overall 3.0 minimum high school GPA
- Meet all URI prerequisites for open courses
How do I find a URI course?
Recommended dual enrollment courses should be those that are listed under our General Education Courses
We also recommend that you check the URI Course Catalog to make sure that you meet any pre-requisite requirements for your course choices.
High School Students interested in taking a Math class need to be evaluated on their prior math preparation before registering for classes. Please have your guidance office contact Sierra Perez, Assistant Director of Academic Programs for further information.
Students registering for any URI class are required to meet all semester registration deadlines and abide by all enrollment procedures. See Academic Calendar.
