Dual Enrollment closed for 2026-2027

As of July 22, 2026, applications into the Dual Enrollment program at the University of Rhode Island are closed for the 2026–2027 academic year due to limited availability.

All students who have already been approved and enrolled in Dual Enrollment will continue to receive full support in enrollment throughout the remainder of the academic year.

Public high school students still seeking URI courses and academic credit for the 2026-2027 academic year should contact their high school guidance counselor to discuss concurrent enrollment courses that may be available.

Transcripts

If you matriculate to URI, then your Concurrent and Dual Enrollment course credits are listed on your official transcript. If you matriculate at another college or university, you’ll need to request that an official transcript from URI be sent to your new institution for evaluation and transfer credit approval. While many colleges and universities do accept URI credits, each institution must review and approve them individually.

All Alumni or Inactive Students – Request Electronic Transcript – Registration and Records.

To send your transcript to another college for review and transfer,  please note our updated instructions on how to obtain a transcript outside of e-Campus (in Parchment) that will no longer require interfacing with the URI IT Service Desk for password resets.

To find more information regarding course transfers among the RI public higher education institutions -URI, RIC & CCRI- please refer to Transfer Resource Center.
