The purpose of this study is to learn about Urinary Tract Infections in the older female population, newly released antibiotics, and antimicrobial resistance.
Target Audience
Pharmacists in all practice settings.
Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this educational activity, pharmacists will be able to:
- Review newly approved antibiotics for UTIs and their roles in treating older women.
- Discuss unique clinical considerations for treating UTIs in older women, including antimicrobial resistance and safety concerns.
