Healthcare Workforce Development

The Office of Continuing Professional Development in the College of Pharmacy is home to a variety of Healthcare Workforce Transformation projects that are funded through URI’s Real Jobs RI Partnership, Transforming Health in RI, with the RI Department of Labor and Training and through a Home and Community-Based Services training grant from the RI Executive Office of Health and Human Services. We work with strategic partners including the Department of Health and other state institutions to bring targeted training programs to healthcare providers in all practice settings throughout the state.

Healthcare workers can access some trainings directly from this page. If your institution is interested in partnering with URI to receive training for healthcare providers, please contact MJ Kanaczet, Director of Healthcare Workforce Development at mj@uri.edu or 401.874.2615. If you are interested in a specific training program, please follow instructions below to inquire about eligibility.
