Recent assessment data identify a gap in pharmacists’ confidence and competence in utilizing artificial intelligence (AI) and clinical decision-support (CDS) tools in practice. Specific areas of need include applying AI-assisted tools for renal dosing adjustments, efficient evidence retrieval, and management of complex or uncommon disease states. Additionally, there is a need to improve understanding of how AI is integrated within electronic health records (EHRs) and its implications for clinical workflow and decision-making.
