Justin’s Advice: Remember that everyone’s path toward a career in the medical professions will look different! While it’s crucial to get experience in the field, it’s just as important to become a well-rounded individual. URI will provide you with an excellent community to help you explore your interests. My friends, professors, and mentors from URI are still people I can go to when I need advice. Make the most of your time here, and don’t be afraid to step out of your comfort zone to find experiences that challenge you. You’ll thank yourself for doing it later on!
