At URI: Majored in Biological Sciences; minored in Leadership Studies; completed the Honors Program. Pre-health ambassador; teaching assistant in math; URI 101 mentor; undergraduate research.

After Graduating: Extensive research experience at Rhode Island Hospital, Hasbro Children’s Hospital, and Cincinnati Children’s Hospital. Studied women’s health and anxiety.

Nana’s Advice: The journey starts now. It is never too early to engage in activities (e.g., shadowing, research, mission trips, etc.) that will translate into a strong resume or application for professional schools. Be open-minded on the journey, stay focused, and when it gets harder do not give up.
