Biography

Hui Zhou will join the Department of Environmental and Natural Resource Economics at the University of Rhode Island in fall 2023. Her main research interests are in environmental and energy economics, transportation economics, and trade. Her research topics include evaluating the welfare effects of trade restrictions on used vehicles, effect of incentive policies on electric vehicles, information provision in energy efficiency labels, etc. She will obtain a PhD in Applied Economics and Management at Cornell University. Before joining URI, she was an associate professor in Nanjing University of Information Science and Technology, China.
