Biography

J Nick Fisk, a native of Las Cruces, NM, holds degrees from the Rochester Institute of Technology and from Yale University. Fisk has been a lifelong wrestler, peaking in 2019 where they wrestled in the Olympic qualifying bracket of the US Open. At Yale, Fisk completed their PhD in the lab of Jeffrey Townsend, was the first computational trainee of the Yale Cancer Biology Training Program, and served as the president of the Graduate and Professional Student Senate. Fisk is additionally a published English and Spanish language poet and dedicates time to science education and outreach.
