Biography

Jean Gordon earned her PhD in Communication Sciences & Disorders at McGill University and has been a faculty member in the Department of Communication Sciences & Disorders at the University of Iowa. Her research focuses on declines and disorders of language production in typical and atypical aging. She has been funded externally by NIH, NIDCD (National Institute of Deafness and Other Communication Disorders), and private foundations. She is joining the Department of Communicative Disorders at URI as Professor & Chair.
