Biography

Justin Parent received his PhD in Clinical Psychology from the University of Vermont after his Internship at Brown University in 2017. Justin was previously faculty at Florida International University and most recently Research faculty at Brown University. His research primarily focuses on risk and resilience factors in child and adolescent mental health. Justin is currently funded on an R01 from NIH to study the role of parenting in epigenomic mechanisms of risk and resilience in children. Justin is also focused on role of sleep disturbance in the onset of psychopathology in children.
