Biography

Miriam Lindner joins URI and the department of psychology as Assistant Teaching Professor. Dr. Lindner received her PhD from Aarhus University, Denmark in 2018. She is completing a postdoctoral fellowship in the Department of Psychology at Harvard University, where she is mentored by Steven Pinker. In addition to teaching a range of undergraduate psychology courses, Dr. Lindner’s research has focused on the psychology of terrorism and “dark” psychology including traits such as narcissism, Machiavellianism, and psychopathy.  Dr. Lindner is fluent in German, Dutch, and Hebrew.
