Biography

Emily is a first year doctoral student in URI’s clinical psychology program under the mentorship of Dr. Lynda Stein. She graduated with a B.A. in Psychology from Connecticut College in 2023 and an M.S. in Applied Quantitative Methods & Social Analysis from Northeastern University in 2025. Prior to beginning at URI, Emily worked at the Institute for Cognitive and Brain Health as a Research Technician focusing on cognitive function and wellbeing.

Research

Emily’s research interests focus on substance use and risk-taking behaviors. She is particularly interested in the treatment and prevention of substance use in young adults, as well as the implementation of health resources to reduce associated risks.
