Biography

Alyssa joined the lab in May 2021 as an undergraduate research assistant and transitioned into the role of Project Manager in May 2023 after earning her B.S. in Psychology from the University of Rhode Island. In November 2025, Alyssa was appointed to Research Coordinator, where she provides leadership and oversight across projects, coordinates research activities, and facilitates collaboration among team members. She is passionate about applying community-engaged approaches to address trauma and substance use.
