Biography
Felicia joined the lab in 2026 after serving as a program evaluator at the New Mexico Department of Health. She received an MS in clinical psychology from the University of New Mexico in 2024 and a BA in psychology with a minor in data science from Northwestern University in 2022. Felicia plans to apply to PhD programs in clinical psychology for Fall 2028 admission.
Felicia is interested in leveraging community-engaged research methods, implementation science, mixed methods, and intensive longitudinal modeling to elucidate the dynamic and intersecting structural, interpersonal, and individual factors involved in the maintenance of and recovery from co-occurring substance use disorder (SUD) and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). She is especially passionate about examining the roles of stigma, oppression, environment, policy, and harm reduction strategies. Through this work, Felicia aims to contribute to a more accessible, equitable, and effective SUD-PTSD treatment landscape.
