Biography

Hayley is a third year doctoral student in the Clinical Psychology Ph.D. program at the University of Rhode Island with a focus in Health Psychology. Prior to coming to URI, Hayley served as a research assistant at Yale and the VA Connecticut Healthcare System, where she worked with multidisciplinary teams in the Veterans Health Administration’s national Headache Centers of Excellence program. Hayley holds a B.A. in psychology from Post University (2018).

Research

Hayley’s research focuses on health behavior change in populations that experience chronic health conditions. She has interests in chronic headache (e.g., migraine) and painful conditions, accessible behavioral interventions, and interdisciplinary approaches to care. She enjoys utilizing mixed-methods approaches that involve participants in the research process.
