Biography

Lillian is a graduate student in the Behavioral Science Ph.D. program at the University of Rhode Island, concentrating in cross-cultural social psychology. She received her bachelor’s degree in psychology and a minor in cultural anthropology from Kansas State University. Prior to her time at URI, she worked as a research assistant and served as a teaching assistant for psychology and cultural anthropology courses. In her free time, Lillian enjoys traveling, photography, exploring new foods, and spending time with family and friends

Research

Lillian’s research aims to examine the role of cultures in well-being, particularly in the context of women’s health. She is also interested in understanding how cultural values and expectations influence social scenarios and decision making.
