Biography
Noam is a third year doctoral candidate in the Clinical Psychology PhD program at the University of Rhode Island. Prior to coming to URI, Noam was a research assistant at the National Center for PTSD/VA Boston Healthcare System. Noam hold a B.A. in Psychology from McGill University (2016) and an M.A. in Clinical Psychology from the New School for Social Research (2020).
Research
Noam’s research interests include culturally-informed, idiographic, and translational methods to understand co-morbid PTSD and substance use. His F31 from the National Institute on Drug Abuse identifies facilitators and barriers of treatment utilization during the period of community re-entry following residential opioid use disorder treatment.
