Biography

Stephen joined the lab as a Research Assistant in May of 2026. He earned BAs in Psychology and English from the University of Rhode Island (2024), and worked as a Research Assistant in the CEL Lab at Butler Hospital post graduation. His research interests lie in the intersectional relationships of gender roles as they relate to differing experiences across emotion regulation, trauma, and suicide ideation and behavior across at risk populations such as racial and ethnic minorities, sexual and gender minorities, and economically disadvantaged individuals. Stephen plans to pursue a PhD in clinical psychology.
