Dr. Wenhui Feng, Assistant Professor of Public Health at the University of Rhode Island, was recently elected Treasurer of the Food and Agricultural Marketing Policy Section, a section of the Agricultural & Applied Economics Association (AAEA). In this role, she will oversee the section’s financial operations, including budget management and financial reporting.

When asked about this election, Dr. Feng said, “I am excited to work alongside a dedicated leadership team and to serve the section’s members. I bring an interdisciplinary perspective to everything I do, and I hope this role gives me the opportunity to help broaden the conversations and research shaping food policy and public health.”
