Admission Requirements
- Evidence of competent undergraduate academic performance: Strong candidates have completed an undergraduate degree and maintained a 3.0 GPA or higher. However, all your materials, including letters of reference, professional statements, and evidence of relevant volunteer, internship, or research experience, are reviewed to assess your ability to succeed in the program.
- Personal Statement: Your statement should describe your interest in an MPH and outline your professional goals (see specific Guidelines for Personal Statement below).
- Two or more letters of recommendation: References should speak to your academic performance and ability to complete a graduate program in public health
- Resume or professional CV
- Transcript(s) from all previous institutions

Guidelines for Personal Statement
The Department of Public Health assesses the fit between your interests and abilities. To help with this assessment, you must provide a personal or professional narrative that describes:
- How your life experiences, including your work (paid or volunteer) and/or career goals, have influenced your decision to pursue an MPH, and
- Your strengths and how these will aid you in your MPH studies.
