Abstract Guidelines

• Abstracts must be submitted as a Word document using the following template:
• RI-SURS Abstract Template (after opening, click File → Download as Microsoft Word)
• For examples of previous abstracts, click HERE.
• Abstract should be no longer than 250 words. Students should have their abstract approved by their faculty mentor prior to submission.
• Once your abstract is formatted correctly, submit via: Abstract Submission Link

Poster Guidelines

• Posters should be 36 x 48 inches (landscape)
• Students should have their abstract approved by their faculty mentor prior to submission.
• Options for Making Posters: (1) Microsoft PowerPoint, (2) Biorender, (3) Google Slides
• RI-INBRE SURF students must include appropriate logo(s) and acknowledgements on your poster.
