Identifying Fall Risk Post COVID-19

This webinar will focus around identification of patients that may have become deconditioned due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Deconditioning can be defined as reversible changes in the body brought about by physical inactivity and disuse. The decline in muscle strength is the most important and consistent feature of deconditioning. 

Learning Objectives
After completing this webinar, participants will be able to:

  • Review aging and health statistics.
  • Review literature related to COVID-19 quarantine and isolation have had on health.
  • Identify individuals at risk of falls and how to make a referral to home health.
