Dr. David G. Edwards is a Professor in the Department of Kinesiology and Applied Physiology at the University of Delaware. He is the PI of the National Institutes of Health (NIH)-funded Center of Biomedical Research Excellence (COBRE) in Cardiovascular Health. Dr. Edwards’ work has been funded by the NIH and the American Heart Association. His research interests include the study of vascular physiology in both health and disease as well as examining interventions to improve vascular health including diet and exercise.
