Dr. Arturo Andrade received a B.S. from the University of Michoacan and a Ph.D. from the National Polytechnic Institute of Toulouse. Dr. Andrade’s research program focuses on the neurobiology of pain and anxiety, particularly the molecular mechanisms of regulation and function of voltage-gated calcium channels, as these are associated with pain and anxiety pathways.
