A new, searchable database unveiled today provides scientists detailed information on more than 500 lab instruments and services available in more than 30 core facilities and laboratories at 12 institutions across the Ocean State.
Representatives from Rhode Island academic and medical institutions hailed the creation of CoreRI.org as a huge opportunity for the state and its residents. Among the many benefits highlighted are:
• Increased ability to compete for grants
• More potential for collaboration
• Improved opportunities to recruit scientists
• More efficient use of shared resources
• Greater promise of economic development
