Research: My research focuses on quantifying the individual krill movement behavior seen in images taken from the Southern Ocean. The goal of my project is to utilize image processing, object detection, and movement tracking techniques to determine if krill movement behavior changes seasonally and how this impacts euphausiid survival in winter.
