Join the Center for Computation and Visualization for a workshop on the high-performance computing, data storage, and bioinformatics applications available to Brown, EPSCoR, URI and MBL researchers.
The workshop will be held on Friday, October 18, 2013, from 9am – 4pm at the Digital Scholarship Lab in Brown University’s Rockefeller Library.
Topics will include:
• an overview of available computing and sequencing infrastructure and bioinformatics applications
• talks on specific biological research projects and their approaches to bioinformatics
• recommendations and best practices for managing and storing
