The Steering Committee for Rhode Island NSF EPSCoR will host a public, statewide meeting Friday, Nov. 22, 2013, from 2-4 p.m. concerning the next proposal to the National Science Foundation (NSF) for a Collaborative Agreement for their Experimental Program to Stimulate Competitive Research (EPSCoR).
The meeting will be held at the Providence Chamber of Commerce, 30 Exchange Terrace, 4th Floor, Providence, RI, 02903.
Agenda:
- The Steering Committee presents information on the next application for a five-year NSF EPSCoR Track 1 Collaborative Agreement.
- The Steering Committee presents information on White Papers due Jan. 10, 2014. Papers must be authored by at least two members of the faculty from a minimum of two institutions and limited in length to one page.
- The Steering Committee recommends the course of the next proposal to the Rhode Island Science and Technology Council (STAC).
- The next proposal must be consistent with the state’s Strategic Plan for Science and Technology — http://stac.ri.gov/state-science-and-technology-plan/
