Grip Strength

Activity Details

Purpose: To understand why the strength of your grip and the shape of your hand are important considerations for hand-held products.

Target Grades: K-12

Activity:
Students will pick up a dynamometer three times, once squeezing hard with their right hand, once squeezing hard with their left hand, and once squeezing with both hands. Each time, they will record the force displayed on the dynamometer.
