Biography

Hi there! My name is Meg Bradbury and I’m an undergraduate student at URI working for my BS in Mechanical Engineering. I am from Massachusetts and have always had a passion for sustainability and a love for the environment and cars. My dream is to work with sustainable energy once I graduate, whether that be with hybrid and electric vehicles or renewable energy.

I am currently working in the Sustainable Innovated Systems (SIS) lab with graduate researchers Tim Jonas and Taris Wilde on a project to try and quantify the effects of driving behavior and battery efficiency in a battery electric vehicle, in different traffic conditions.

I am also a Residential Assistant at the University of Rhode Island, member of URI’s Sailing club, member of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (A.S.M.E.) and founding member of URI’s Women in STEM club.
