Biography

Hi. My name is Jennifer Jackson and I am currently a Senior at URI in Industrial and Systems Engineering. My work in the SIS Lab, this year, will design and hopefully implement a system of campus wide composting by addressing the logistics of transportation, sanitation, life-cycle utilization, and increasing free human interaction with the system by design. At URI, I am the inventory coordinator of the student-run 193 Coffeehouse at URI, a peer leader in P.L.E.A.S.E. at the Women’s Center of URI, and a member of the URI chapters of Society of Women Engineers (SWE) and the Institute of Industrial and System Engineers (IISE). My focus at URI is to begin working on addressing current and future issues with global supply chains and developing systems that are more sustainable and human conscious.
