Biography

Hello! My name is Kassia Almeida. I am double majoring in Industrial and Systems Engineering and Spanish with a minor in Sustainability. I am part of the Solar Energy research team for the SIS Lab. I am currently initiating a sustainability project in the residence hall Brookside. The project entails educating the residents about how to recycle properly. 

I am originally from Cape Verde, and I speak four languages (English, Spanish, Portuguese, and Cape-Verdean Créole). My hobbies are rollerblading and playing the piano.
