Biography

Hello. My name is Ahmad Siddiqi. I am pursuing my BS in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Rhode Island. Currently, I am working under Dr. Macht at the SIS Lab with the RI VOTES team in collaboration with the Rhode Island Board of Elections, the Rhode Island Dept. of State, the URI College of Engineering, and the Democracy Fund to optimize the present voting systems. To accomplish this, I am designing virtual simulation environments that are subject to advanced systems design methods, including computer-based simulation, to ensure the improvement of the voting process regarding efficiency and user experience.
