Product Design for the Environment

ISE 460

LEC: (3 crs.)

Principles and practices of designing more environmentally beneficial products. Environmental effects. Life cycle analysis, recycling and remanufacturing. Design for disassembly and environment. Group projects on product and process design using LCA and DFE analysis tools.

Prerequisites: ISE 240, CHE 333 or 437.
