Minor in Social Justice and Civic Responsibilities

Requirements

In addition to fulfilling all the basic requirements for a minor (see Minor Fields of Study), students who declare a minor in Social Justice and Civic Responsibilities are required to take at least one course from each of three categories of courses (peoples, social and institutional contexts, and methods and skills) and not more than three from each category for a total of 18 credits.

Students are encouraged to meet with the minor advisory committee or the minor director, Dr. Judy Van Wyk, before they begin to plan which courses best suit their career and academic goals.
