The Rhody Basic Needs Hub provides our URI community with one place to stop for all concerns related to providing for basic needs support. Our mission is to connect URI students to resources in the moment of need so students can focus on academics, career goals, and interpersonal relationships.
This hub serves as a comprehensive support system for URI students, offering assistance across essential areas including Emergency Funding, Food Access, Technology Access, and Transportation. Through this centralized resource, students can access emergency financial aid, food pantries, technology resources, and transportation services, ensuring they have the necessary support to focus on their academic pursuits and well-being. Whether facing unexpected financial challenges, food insecurity, technological barriers, or transportation obstacles, the Rhody Basic Needs Hub is dedicated to fostering a supportive environment where all students can thrive.
