Student Bereavement

When students experience the loss of a loved one, URI helps provide compassionate support and accommodations, ensuring that students have the space and resources to help navigate their grief while maintaining their academic progress.

Excused Absences

When students are absent due to a crisis situation or unexpected illness and are unable to contact individual instructors directly, SSAS staff can send an Emergency Academic Notification.
