The Student Event Advising (SEA) Office provides student groups with support and assistance through event planning and program advising. They also advise URI students looking for opportunities to get involved on campus.

Event Advising

The SEA Office will work to help you define your group’s goals, audience (who you would like to reach), and what you would like to accomplish by having this program. Once you have a clear vision of your program’s goals, we can help you with the details of your event.

Registration and Planning

Any Student Senate Recognized Organization event—whether open to the public or private—MUST BE REGISTERED through your organization’s URInvolved page. We can help you plan and maintain a budget, decide on a location, select catering, and get audio visual equipment. We can also help advertise for your event.
