Biography
Paula is a Professor of stage and theatre management at the University of Rhode Island with great passion for musical theatre. AT URI, Paula has production managed more than 60 productions since 1985 and she has choreographed Cole, Anne of Green Gables, The Mystery of Edwin Drood, How to Succeed in Business without Really Trying, Camelot,Peter Pan, Cabaret, Oliver, Annie, The Sound of Music, The Music Man, and La Cage aux Folles. Chair since 1999, her directing credits at URI include The Wiz, Assassins, Pippin, A Chorus Line, Cinderella, Into the Woods, Beauty and the Beast, Urinetown, The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas, Little Women, Oklahoma, and The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee. Paula hails from Peoria, Illinois and she received her Master’s from Illinois State University and her A.B.D. from the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana.
