Armand E. Sabitoni, ’73 is the former General Secretary-Treasurer of the Laborers’ International Union of North America (LIUNA) – a Union representing more than 500,000 members across the United States and Canada. Sabitoni became General Secretary-Treasurer, LIUNA’s 2nd highest ranking office on May 1, 2001. He continues to serve as New England Regional Manager representing over 60,000 members across the six New England states and New York. He also chairs several national and regional labor-management cooperation, health and safety, pension and investment funds. Throughout his long career of service to LIUNA, Sabitoni has received numerous awards recognizing his outstanding leadership and his many contributions to improving the quality of life for all working families throughout North America.
