Ryan Estus, ‘26, is a Political Science and Public Relations double major at the University of Rhode Island, with minors in Communications and Leadership Studies. A second-generation Rhody Ram and lifelong Rhode Islander, he has immersed himself in campus life through a variety of involvements and leadership roles. Ryan served as the Programming Coordinator for URI’s New Student Orientation program, helping welcome thousands of incoming students and supporters, and as a Program Coordinator for the university’s Leadership Institute. Currently, he works as a Campus Tour Guide for the Office of New Student Transitions, is an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant, a Brand Ambassador for the Harrington School of Communication and Media, and works remotely as an Undergraduate Research Assistant for a New York City-based Public Relations agency. He was appointed Student Representative to the Board of Trustees in April 2025. Outside of school, Ryan is an avid pickleball player and the founding president of URI’s Club Pickleball team, which he helped grow into a recognized club sport. He’s also a devoted fan of URI basketball and a regular presence at games in the Ryan Center. He lives in South Kingstown with his parents, Erica and Todd, and his brother, Andrew.
