A Weekend of Discovery for the Entire Family!
Tentatively scheduled for July 25-27, 2014 at The University of Rhode Island
For children ages 5-18 and their families.
Who Can Attend?
Any child ages 5-18 with a military parent, priority being given to those in the deployment cycle, Wounded Warriors and Gold Star families. Additionally, we require that at least one guardian attend with the child or children. This can be the service member, civilian parent, caregiver, or any other loving adult in the child’s life.
How do I register my family?
Application forms can be found on the back panel of the 2014 Family Camp Brochure, which is HERE. Applications (with a check for the non-refundable $10 registration fee per family) will be accepted on a first come, first served basis. Application deadline is TUESDAY JULY 1st . Please make checks payable to the RI 4H Club Foundation with “OMK” in the memo line. MAIL the Application and registration fee to: Rhode Island State 4H Office, 75 Peckham Farm, Kingston RI 02881. This secures your spot on the Camp list, and I will email you when I get this.
DOWNLOAD the Family Camp Registration forms below. These are FILLABLE formsl; there is no need to print and mail them anymore. EMAIL the completed forms to Pam Martin at email@example.com. A confirmation will be emailed when registration is complete.
How does Family Camp work?
Family Camp is FREE to all participants! Families are housed together in the dormitories at the University of Rhode Island. Children and parents will participate in fun workshops and activities, both individually and together to have fun, reconnect with each other, and share family time.
What activities will be available?
We launch rockets, race Lego cars, swim, skate and who-knows-what-else!! Every activity is designed for maximum fun and family teamwork!
