What is your responsibility as a 2016 URI Energy Fellow (i.e. what team are you on/where are you working)?
I am working at Wind Energy Development, LLC (WED). At WED, I primarily work with developing wind turbine projects in Rhode Island. Some activities include identifying potential turbine sites, preparing permits and necessary applications for projects and organizing a personalized owner’s manual. I am looking forward to develop myself so that I can be an ideal asset to any organization after graduation. This would be a result of networking, engaging in outreach events, gaining important work experience. One of the most rewarding aspects of my fellowship is that I always get to learn something new each day while working with amazing and experienced professionals.
In my free time I like to….
Outside of the classroom, I can be found at the beach, state parks or on the tennis court. I am involved with the Sigma Chi Fraternity and love to participate in service projects with the community.
