Dining Services Resident Meal Plan Refund Policy Fall 2016/Spring 2017

 

If a student leaves prior to the end of the meal plan change period (second week of the semester), the meal plan charge is as follows:

  • The student will be charged for any visits used at Butterfield and Mainfare Dining Halls. The visits will be calculated at the full cash guest price for each meal based on time of entry:
    – Breakfast $8.50
    – Brunch $11.50
    – Lunch $11.50
    – Dinner $13.50
    – Combo $6.50
  • In addition, if applicable, the student will be charged for any Ram Account or Combo Meals used which will be calculated at the actual cash value of each sale.

 

If a student leaves after the second week of the semester and does not use:

  • More than 25 board meals prior to cancellation and/or more than 25% of the starting balance of Ram Account, charges will be calculated as outlined above.

FOLLOW REFUND POLICY BELOW FOR CAMPUS STANDARD, CAMPUS PLUS, OR CAMPUS PREMIERE 

  • Week 2:  20% of the full price of the Campus Meal Plan Charge plus any Ram Account usage
  • Week 3:  30% of the full price of the Campus Meal Plan Charge plus any Ram Account usage
  • Week 4:  40% of the full price of the Campus Meal Plan Charge plus any Ram Account usage
  • Week 5:  50% of the full price of the Campus Meal Plan Charge plus any Ram Account usage
  • Week 6:  60% of the full price of the Campus Meal Plan Charge plus any Ram Account usage
  • Week 7:  70% of the full price of the Campus Meal Plan Charge plus any Ram Account usage
  • Week 8:  80% of the full price of the Campus Meal Plan Charge plus any Ram Account usage

 

THERE ARE NO REFUNDS AFTER WEEK 8

To receive appropriate refunds the student must complete a Meal Plan Cancellation form and submit it to the Campus ID & Dining Office at the Memorial Union.

No refunds are allowed if the student remains residing in a resident hall that requires a resident meal plan.
