    Ph.D., Political Science/International Relations, Columbia University

    Lawrence Juda taught graduate courses in international ocean law and management, the role of international organizations in ocean management, and U.S. ocean policy and was the recipient of a College of Life and Environmental Sciences Teaching Excellence Award. Prof. Juda served as a Visiting Professor at the Graduate Institute of International Studies in Geneva, Switzerland, has been a consultant to the United Nations Division of Ocean Affairs and Law of the Sea, and is a member of the editorial board of the journal Ocean Development and International Law.  He is the author of several books, including International Law and Ocean Use Management: the Evolution of Ocean Governance, and many journal articles on ocean policy and law.
