Explore: Meet and learn more about local peace organizations such as SOAR/RICADV, Pax Christi RI, The Boys & Girls Clubs of Newport County; SNAP Outreach for college students, Euphrates Institute, Dorcas International, Nonviolent Schools RI, Westerly Monthly Meeting and FCNL, and The Peace Flag Project from 10:00 – 2:00.
2. Express: Peaceful arts and ideas with Ginny Fox, the Peace Flag Project, 10:00 – 2:00.
3. Listen: Peace music and songs.
4. Enjoy: Peace poems with Professor Ann Salzarulo-McGuigan, 11:30.
5. Stand for Peace: Say peace for the URI Human Peace-sign photo, 12:00.
6. Mediate: Mindfulness meditation with visiting scholar Tsering Gyaltsen, 1:00.
7. Practice: Yoga with instructor Deirdre Morrison, 1:30.
